It was a Red Elephant meeting, but open to wives, girlfriends or both, so the info isn't really private.
*Some guy asked what Shula was going to do about Jim from Tuscaloosa and Finebaum. Shula replied "Who?" No dout he knows PF, but I highly doubt he knows of Jim. Guess it's hard for some to believe that most people don't listen to or care about the show.
*Said that injuries are no longer an excuse. The coaches have to get players ready to play and to play well enough to win. One thing I really like about Shula, he has never made excuses for anything.
*Said that KD is ahead of schedule, Tim is a little ahead of Darby and Brodie is 100%.
*Receivers will likely be the strength of the O. Singled out Connely as having to earn his money this year.
*Defense did a great job, but knows they can't play this year on last year's results.
*I was told privately that there are 734 pre-registered for Saturday and Sunday.
*Anybody else that was there, chime in. Like I said, nothing really Earth-shattering.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There seems to be conflicting reports on FORD. It seems to cause a lot of feelings to stir.
Coffee was just named the North Florida Athlete of the year. He is up to 205, working out like mad, and still runs a sub 4.5 forty. I think he will be the sleeper of this class.
Nothing much new, I am sure you read that about Ricks on TI. I hope he gets his 17 on the ACT. It just shows how close even the borderline players are. Shula sure is recruiting young men with a lot of CLASS. Nothing can replace that "winner" attitude.
Oh ZO Washington is on Campus from various reports - And that is GREAT news.
I will call you Saturday.
Love you and mom, Say hi to Grandma. Have a safe trip on saturday.
