Also

Since Bear Bryant Came to BAMA we have had a National Championship at least every 13 years.

1966, 1979, 1992, add 13 years to 1992 and you get 2005.

Also

The 3rd year of every coach Since Bear Bryant at BAMA has been very good.
1960 – Paul Bear Bryant finished = 8 Wins – 1 loss – 2 ties
1985 – Ray Perkins finished = 9 wins – 2 losses – 1 tie
1989 – Bill Curry finished = 10 wins – 2 losses
1992 – Gene Stallings finished = 13 wins – 0 losses
1999 – Mike Dubose finished = 10 wins – 2 losses

Also

Since Arkansas joined the SEC in 1992, we've played them every year. Every year that we beat them except for one (2001), Bama has gone on to a 10-win season, or better.
Of the six seasons in that span where we lost to Arkansas, we have averaged only 5 wins in those seasons.

The stats above include 4 different coaches, each of which have now beaten and lost to the Hogs.

What does this mean?

I have no clue but I think it means we are not there yet like we thought we were after the South Carolina game but at the same time we are closer to where we want to be no matter how Vanilla we looked today against Arkansas.

No, this is not the 1992 defense but we still have at least 7 games to get better on Offense and Defense. I think worse case scenario we go into the LSU game with a record of 7 wins and 2 losses (7 – 2). I think we will give Florida all they can handle next week and if we put together a complete game we can stomp their ASS into the ground.
