Mostly old news but thought I would make sure everybody had heard all of this.

Darrin Mustin - A Middle Line Backer X-FER from Middle Tennessee State is on campus. He will participate in Spring drills. He joined the Tide last Fall and sat out the 2005 season and will be able to play the 2006 season. He will have 2 years to play starting in 2006 when he will be a Junior.

Johnathon Lowe - A HB/WR/KR Prothro type player who is a X-FER from Mississippi State is on campus and will participate in Spring Drills. He was slected for the SEC all freshman team in 2004. He has to sit out of the 2006 season but will have 3 years to play starting in 2007 when he will be a Sophomore.

Max Martin - A HB Transfer from the University of Michigan is on Campus and will participate in spring drills. He has to sit out of the 2006 season but will have 2 years to play starting in 2007 when he will be a Junior.

It has been reported that Prothro will be able to put down his crutches soon and will start to do some rehab in June.

Curtis Dawson has been dismissed from the team again due to violation of team rules. He will not participate in spring drills and will likely end his carrer at UAB.

Simeon Castille will be able to participate in spring drills.

Chris Keys and Cody Davis recently underwent surgery. Both will miss spring drills.

Markus McKnight has decided to quit football. He will graduate at the end of the spring semester.

New strength Coach Rocky Colburn is realy working the guys out hard in the lower gym.
